The Trustees Committee and our pastoral staff have made a decision, grounded in prayer and care, to prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our Haymount United Methodist Church community by canceling all Sunday morning worship services and Sunday school on Sunday, February 01, 2026. While we understand that this news may bring disappointment to some, we want to reassure you that we are committed to fostering nurturing and supportive communication during these times. We warmly invite you to engage with our alternative worship experience this weekend; Pastor Allen has graciously prerecorded his sermon for you to enjoy in the comfort of your home, and our talented traditional and contemporary worship teams have created a morning of praise that you won't want to miss. To view our pre-recorded service be sure to visit our website or Facebook page on Sunday morning!
Lastly, as we look ahead to the coming week, please note that our Church Office will adhere to the closure policies set by the Cumberland County School System. If schools close or shift to remote learning, our Church Office will also be closed, and all church activities for that day will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we navigate these challenges together.
As always, we will work to keep you informed of all closures due to inclement weather. Stay warm and safe Haymount Family! We cannot wait to be reunited with you soon!
