UMCOR has awarded two solidarity grants to the California-Pacific Annual Conference to undergird their immediate relief efforts, including needs such as food and essential supplies for evacuees, and support for volunteer efforts and other relief activities. Donate Blood: Blood donations are always needed in times of crisis. Many people were hurt in their efforts to protect their families and others during the wildfires in California. In addition to there being an increase in need for blood donations due to the injuries in California, the wildfires, in conjunction with the severe winter weather in other parts of the country, have caused many blood donations to go uncollected.
