Haymount’s Möller pipe organ was recently featured on the cover of one of the two most widely circulated magazines regarding pipe organs, The Diapason. When Tom Lewtak, the organ builder from Mocksville, NC and owner of Lewtak Pipe Organ Builders was approached by The Diapason to feature one of his recent installations, he chose the Haymount restoration and expansion project. Incidentally, a new organ installation at one of the nation’s prominent Catholic seminaries was also featured at about the same time in the other prominent organ journal, The American Organist. This was Tom’s most recent installation. For members who would like a copy of the article, please see the music director, or visit the bulletin board display across from the Commons Room. This feature was certainly very exciting news for Haymount, and we are again reminded of so many who made this very instrument available to us. To God be the glory!
