Christmas Lovefeast Volunteers Needed

It’s almost time for Haymount’s signature Christmas event and we are now seeking volunteers who would be willing to serve the buns, coffee, and candles at Moravian Lovefeast. This year’s program takes place on Sunday, December 8 at 4 PM. Servers will be needed about one hour prior to the program and then serve during the actual program. If you are willing to assist, please let our music director know by emailing weslockfaw@haymountumc.com and he will be in touch. Not only is this a long-standing tradition at Haymount, but it is a gift to our community. We would be delighted to have you serve with us!

Adult Handbell Choir

We are currently seeking new ringers for our adult handbell choir that meets on Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 7 PM. Are you interested in joining this quickly growing group of musicians? Contact Wes Lockfaw!

Be a Part of our Christmas Programming

Rehearsals for our Christmas program are about to begin, and we are inviting any singer who would like to join us to come out and help make this season’s music the best ever! If you like to sing and are 16 years of age or older, we would love to have you participate! Rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30 PM beginning Wednesday, November 6. The program of music will take place within the context of our annual Moravian Lovefeast on Sunday, December 8 at 4 PM.  If you would like to sing or know of others either in the church or the community who may also be interested, please email or speak to Wes Lockfaw directly. All are welcome!

We will also begin rehearsals for our Christmas program in November! If you have a child age 3 to 5th grade interested in participating, come and join us on Wednesday evenings!
