We are collecting school supplies for the MERCI Center. A team from Haymount UMC will be going to the MERCI Center with these supplies to assemble School Kits. These kits are distributed to children and schools in need in local communities. The School Kits require specific materials to be assembled, so please be sure to donate only the following specific items:
Blunt Scissors
Boxes of 24 Crayons
One-Subject Notebooks (no composition notebooks)
Packages of loose-leaf paper
Hand-Held Pencil Sharpeners
Rulers
Unsharpened Pencils
Erasers
2-Gallon Re-sealable Plastic Bags.
Donations can be placed in the designated boxes outside of the NLC and Church Office. For questions, or to learn more about visiting the MERCI center, contact Laurie Doherty at 910-988-4265.
