How to Help
Many of us are heartbroken at the news of the flash flooding that caused mass destruction, and multiple deaths in Texas. If you would like to find a way to give to the disaster relief efforts, below you will find a few options:
If you would like to give to UMCOR through Haymount United Methodist Church you may do so by writing a check to Haymount United Methodist Church with the memo "Texas Flood Relief". This money will go straight to UMCOR relief efforts in that area.
You may also visit the UMCOR website and give directly to UMCOR by clicking here.
You may also give to various other organizations that have sent teams to work on disaster relief in the area such as The Salvation Army, The American Red Cross, and others. Always be sure to donate through official organization websites to avoid the risk of scams.
As always, we are thankful for our generous and caring congregation that has a passion for helping those in need.
