Rachel's Bio

Rachel Madsen grew up in the Apex, NC area. She obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Special Education with K-12 teacher certification from Greensboro College. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mother, she was a Special Education teacher for ten years working with Elementary and Middle School aged children. She is married to a retired Army veteran, has two children and a dog. Rachel has been known to volunteer with Appalachia Service Project, lead VBS, head up a MOPS group, and lead women's Bible studies with Protestant Women of the Chapel.  She loves to bake, craft, sew, crochet, go thrifting and antiquing, and create something from nothing! Most of all, Rachel has a call to help children know how very much they are loved by Jesus; to guide children in learning about God; and to partner with parents as they build a firm foundation rooted in God's love and grace.
